Principal Dentist & Practice Owner
Dr. Aikusa Hacatrjana, BDS, PG Cert, GDC Reg No. 169541, is the new owner of Cottage Dental & Implant Clinic. With a focus on health-based and cosmetic dentistry, she aims to help patients maintain bright smiles.
Aikusa, a qualified dentist from Latvia, is an Invisalign provider and holds a PG certification in restorative dentistry. She’s also pursuing a Diploma in Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry.
The clinic offers teeth whitening, veneers, and Invisalign. Aikusa plans to extend hours for busy patients and is dedicated to helping nervous individuals feel comfortable.
Dr. Aikusa Hacatrjana is a Doctor of Dental Medicine with Latin honours.
Implant Dentistry
Dr Johana Zibova qualified from Charles University, Prague in 2012.
PG Cert in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry PG Cert Implantology Dr Johana Zibova qualified from Charles University, Prague in 2012. Johana has over 10 years of experience working in general dental practices
She has a very calming and gentle nature and really focuses on making sure her patients are relaxed and comfortable. Johana has successfully completed a Certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry taught by Dominic Hassall
She tries to adopt a minimal invasive approach to restoring teeth wherever possible and has PG Certificate in Implant Dentistry. Johana has also been training foundation dentists. She is a Doctor of Dental Medicine with Latin honours.

Special Interest In Endodontics.
Dr Marina Spanaki graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2000 and went on to complete her MSc in Endodontics at Guy’s Hospital, London, in 2005.
With many years of clinical experience, Marina is highly skilled in managing even the most complex root canal cases. She works using the latest endodontic techniques and technologies, including treatment under a Zeiss operating microscope, to ensure the highest possible success rate, and standard of care.

Dental Nurse
I joined Cottage Dental and Implant clinic in January 2023 as Qualified Dental Nurse and truly thankful for having found a great team to work every day. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family.
As I did Diploma in Dental Nurse from NEBDN in 2021. Processing comprehensive knowledge in radiography and sedation, I'm well- versed in assisting dental procedures, ensuring hygiene protocols, and providing comfortable atmosphere for patient.
Practice Manager
I joined Cottage Dental Clinic in March 2022 as the practice manager. Prior to this I worked in a four surgery NHS practice in Abingdon.
I have been involved in dentistry for over 30 years, starting out as a dental nurse when I was 20. In my spare time I like to keep fit running with a local running club several times a week, and I enjoy yoga.
Dental Receptionist
I have been a dental receptionist for 21 years, joining Cottage Dental Clinic in 2020. Prior to dentistry, I was a travel agent and the passion for travel has never left me. I’m always at my happiest when I’m planning my next adventure.
Spending time with my family and the new addition of my grandson is how I love to spend my spare time, however I am also a keen theatre attender, and a love of cookery too.
